Developed in partnership with rock racing champion Randy Slawson, the 1/10 scale 4WD Axial® RR10™ Bomber RC platform provides the foundation for radio control rock racing rigs that handle the harshest environments and capture the look of real 1:1 vehicles in exciting detail. The RR10 Bomber is available ready-to-run (RTR), allowing RC off-road enthusiasts to get into action almost immediately after opening the box.

Axial® partnered with Bomber Fabrication owner and two-time King of the Hammers rock racing champion Randy Slawson to create a new level of 1/10 scale, 4-wheel drive radio control rock racing rig built on the fast, durable Axial full tube chassis. The result is the RR10™ Bomber platform.
True, 4-wheel drive locked differentials give this RC rock racer dependable traction. The AR60 OCP-Axle, constructed from high strength composite material, increases ground clearance and improves the driveshaft angle. The combination of our axles and the true 4-link suspension delivers optimal performance for any terrain with the look of a real 1:1 vehicle.
Equipped with all-metal internal gears, the Axial RR10 Bomber platform’s full bearing transmission is tough enough for remote control rock racing fans to take on the harshest rock racing environments. The factory gearbox comes as a single speed, with the high gear installed. An optional two-speed transmission component is sold separately (AX31181). The integrated motor mount allows endless gearing options. The dual slipper uses a pad on each side of the spur gear for added surface area and more precise tuning and holding power. The spur gear features strong, 32-pitch gearing for high-torque applications.
The WB8 HD driveshafts feature an updated design with a larger diameter cross pin (2x11mm) along with an M4 Screw Shaft (2mm hex drive) for added strength. A center splined slider floats between each end and features added material which reduces flex and fatigue.
The suspension geometry uses a 4-link design which is optimized to reduce axle steer and to provide the proper anti-squat and roll characteristics. The 4-link system also aids against suspension wrap-up in high-power applications. Included aluminum King shocks feature precision-machined pistons which offer smooth performance throughout the range of travel. Made to tight tolerances, these aluminum shocks feature clear-coated, polished aluminum bodies and are threaded for quick ride height adjustments and pre-load tuning ability. The rear shocks are mounted on the links rather than at the axle, allowing for more suspension travel and better high-speed handling. All shock-mounting locations are dual shear with optional secondary shock mounts allowing for dual shock setups.
Officially licensed 2.2 Trail Ready satin chrome finish RC wheels have a three piece beadlock design that allows you to change tires as necessary. BFGoodrich® Baja T/A KR3 S30 compound tires capture the aggressive look of the full-size off-road racing “go to” tire and provides remarkable performance on a wide variety of surfaces.
All electronics are routed and part of the skid plate assembly. Simply drop the skid plate and remove the shocks at the chassis to access the electronic components. Thanks to the forward-mounted, easy access battery tray, you can access the adjustable battery compartment simply by removing two body clips to release the front hood. The compartment offers plenty of room to secure 2S or 3S LiPo RC batteries.
The Axial RR10 Bomber RC rock racer platform is available in the ready-to-run (RTR) completion level with realistic scale details that include a polycarbonate interior tray with molded driver figures and dashboard; three pairs of black styrene helmets (motorsport, open skull-face, and motocross); scale molded shock reservoirs; fuel cell; and RR10-licensed Bomber Fabrication scale tube chassis. The RR10 Bomber has a forward-facing light bar with two LEDs and forward-facing rock lights for wheeling after the sun sets. Rear-facing red LEDs are mounted in a realistic, racing style light bar. Radio equipment and power system components are included and installed, so you can be on the rocks almost immediately.
