Pro Line 1/10 Chisel II RC Car Tire Overview
The Chisel II is built around a different idea. Grip comes from controlled edges, not just more rubber.
From the first look, the open tread tells the story. Large, sculpted lugs are spaced to create clear voids, giving the tire room to bite, clear, and reset with every rotation. Instead of packing up or glazing over, the tread stays active and continues to find fresh edges that grab rock, dirt, and loose terrain.
Each lug is shaped to do real work. The stepped faces and cut features allow the tread to dig under load and hold its shape, creating strong forward bite without feeling vague or unpredictable. When the rig loads up on a climb, those edges engage and convert throttle into forward drive instead of slip.

When the rig loads up on a climb, those edges engage and convert throttle into forward drive instead of slip.
The sidewall carries that same aggression. Prominent side lugs extend traction beyond the center tread, giving the Chisel II the ability to lock in during off camber lines and uneven transitions. When the tire rolls onto its side, it does not lose grip. It finds a new edge and keeps pulling.
Underneath, the carcass is tuned to flex with intention. It compresses enough to let the tread engage deeper, helping the tire wrap into terrain while maintaining structure through the lugs. That balance keeps the tire responsive, controlled, and ready to adapt as conditions change.
This is not about maximizing contact.
This is about maximizing bite and staying in control.
High-Contact Tread Design
The open tread pattern increases surface contact across rocks and hard terrain, creating consistent traction instead of relying on isolated lug engagement.
Controlled Lug Geometry
Reduced lug height minimizes squirm under load, improving throttle response and keeping the tire planted during climbs and technical maneuvers.
Terrain-Conforming Carcass
The flexible carcass allows the tire to compress and conform to obstacles, increasing the contact patch and improving traction without relying solely on compound softness.
Active Sidewall Traction
Aggressive sidewall elements provide additional grip during off-camber driving and uneven transitions, helping maintain control when the rig leans or shifts weight.
Predator Compound – Maximum Bite
The Predator compound is formulated for maximum mechanical grip in demanding, technical terrain. Its ultra-soft composition allows the tread to compress and conform deeply into rock faces, cracks, and sharp edges, dramatically increasing surface contact. This enhanced conformity produces superior traction on slick rock and steep climbs where precision is critical. Predator excels in low-speed, high-control crawling situations, giving drivers the confidence to commit to aggressive lines with reduced slip and improved hold. While optimized for ultimate performance rather than extended wear, Predator delivers uncompromising traction for those who demand every advantage when the terrain pushes back.
